CHP Hospice Hosts Annual Beacon of Hope Dinner & Auction

CHP Home Care & Hospice of Paulding celebrated its annual Beacon of Hope for Hospice Dinner & Charity Auction on November 13, marking another year of community support for the organization that has served Paulding County families for 50 years. The evening, held at the Paulding County Fairgrounds, brought together supporters for a catered dinner, live and silent auctions, raffles, and a 50/50 drawing—all benefiting CHP’s patient care fund for Paulding County residents.
One of the evening’s most impactful moments came from keynote speaker Amber Foust, who shared a heartfelt tribute to her late mother, Penny Ryan, who received CHP hospice services prior to her passing. Amber spoke about the compassion, dignity, and comfort her family experienced through CHP, expressing deep gratitude for the staff who supported them during one of life’s most difficult seasons. Her words underscored the vital role hospice care plays in the community and why continued support is so important.
The event featured Auctioneer Kenny Thomas and Emcee Joe Barker, with dinner catered by Streetlight Catering. Guests enjoyed an evening of camaraderie and generosity, all in honor of the families touched by hospice care.
