Buckmaster speaks to Kiwanis

The Kiwanis Club recently welcomed Haley Buckmaster, Executive Director of 4-H Camp Palmer, as its featured speaker. Buckmaster was invited by Kiwanis member Chris Johnson.

During her presentation, Buckmaster highlighted the many programs and services offered at Camp Palmer. Serving 11 counties, the camp operates year-round and continues to expand its impact across the region. Numerous updates and improvements have recently been completed throughout the campgrounds, with additional enhancements planned. The most recent renovation includes an overhaul to the Nature Center.

Camp Palmer is committed to developing leadership, confidence, and responsibility in youth through engaging outdoor and educational experiences. In addition to youth programming, the camp also offers facilities for team-building events, corporate and organizational retreats, and family gatherings.

The Kiwanis Club appreciates Buckmaster for sharing information about Camp Palmer’s mission and ongoing improvements, and for the positive impact the camp continues to have in the community.
