Benzing speaks to Kiwanis

The Kiwanis Club recently welcomed Jenna Benzing as its weekly guest speaker. Benzing was featured as a Chamber Spotlight and is the founder of The Kitty Hope Foundation, a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization established last year to address the growing stray cat population in Paulding County.
What began as a personal passion project has evolved into a structured community effort offering three core programs: Adoption, Foster, and TNR (Trap, Neuter & Return). The TNR program, which is open to the public, has become the foundation’s most utilized service. It provides essential care—including spay/neuter surgery, vaccinations, and flea treatment—for a nominal fee.
During her presentation, Benzing shared 2025 program statistics, demonstrating the significant impact the foundation has already made in reducing stray and feral cat populations while improving animal welfare throughout the county. She has more programs coming soon!
The Kitty Hope Foundation relies on community support to continue its mission. Individuals interested in donating, fostering, or assisting with transportation for spay/neuter appointments are encouraged to get involved.
