Antwerp’s Dr. Martin Miller Named Semifinalist for 2025 Educator of the Year

Celebrating Excellence in Education Across the Nation
The Age of Learning Educator of the Year Award shines a spotlight on educators who go above and beyond in shaping the future of their students and communities. Among the twelve remarkable semifinalists selected for 2025 is Dr. Martin Miller, Superintendent of Antwerp Local School District in Ohio.
Dr. Miller’s inclusion as a semifinalist is a proud moment for Northwest Ohio and a testament to the impact that dedicated leadership can have, even in small rural districts. Under his guidance, Antwerp Local Schools has embraced innovation, supported academic achievement, and fostered a close-knit, student-centered environment.

The Educator of the Year Award recognizes professionals who exemplify outstanding commitment, creativity, and positive influence in education. Dr. Miller joins an elite group of teachers and school leaders from across the country—ranging from Texas to Florida to North Carolina—who are being honored for their inspirational work.
The twelve semifinalists are currently under review, and Age of Learning will announce the finalists in July. The national winner will be revealed in late summer or early fall.
