Antwerp XC Competes at GMCs

Saturday, October 11th, the XC teams of Antwerp Schools traveled to Edgerton for the Green Meadows Conference Championship.

JH Boys started out the day and the Archers led the charge with a bang winning the first GMC Championship in school history! They were led by 2nd place finisher Marshall Rice and 4th place finisher Kahne Moore! They were followed closely by Cy Zuber, Luke Saylor, and Krayston Eicher.

JH Girls were up next and the Lady Archers placed 5th as a team. They were led by 9th place finisher Destiny Getz. She was followed by Josie Laker, Heidi Rice, Jocelyn Laker, and Serenity Camarillo.

Varsity Boys ran next and the Archers placed 4th as a team. They were led by 4th place finisher Corbin Sargent. He was followed by Bryceton Barker, Jason McKay, Isaac Buhrer, Gage Barker, Tucker Doster, and Aiden Hook. The Varsity Boys earned 1 first team and 1 honorable mention.

Rounding out the day were the Lady Archers who notched yet another commanding win. Earning the first ever GMC title for the Varsity Girls! They were led by 5th place finisher Gianna Laker. She was followed closely by Emily Laker, Leigha Doster, Gabriella Snyder, Raelynne Zuber, Taylor Stiebling, and Aleta Sorrell. The Lady Archers earned 1 first team, 3 second team, and 1 honorable mention.
