ANTWERP VFW POST 5087 JOIN THE NATIONAL PURPLE HEART TRAIL

Eric Miller, the Commander of Antwerp VFW Post 5087, officially signed a Proclamation that designated Antwerp VFW Post 5087 as a part of the Military Order of the Purple Heart’s National Purple Heart Trail. This significant recognition makes Antwerp VFW Post 5087, the second VFW post in the State of Ohio to be included in this honored network.
The Purple Heart Trail is a designated network of roads, highways, and trails across the United States that honors the sacrifices of military personnel who have been wounded or killed in combat. Established by the Military Order of the Purple Heart’s Purple Heart Trail Committee, it serves as a symbol of gratitude and recognition for the bravery of these service members. The trail aims to promote awareness and appreciation of the sacrifices made by veterans, fostering a sense of community and respect across the nation.
The addition highlights the VFW Post’s commitment to honoring the sacrifices of military personnel and fostering community awareness.
