Antwerp Police Report

March 11 – An officer performed a vehicle unlock.

March 12 – A citizen reported a stop sign down on W. Daggett. The officer contacted the village administrator. A resident also reported that  another person had messaged him on Facebook and was sending him threatening messages.

March 13 – Antwerp Police responded to a tree down on power lines on N. Main St. The officer contacted the village administrator, the power company, and the resident. Officers also assisted a resident on Main St. with securing a trampoline due to high winds and conducted a welfare check at the mobile home park on Shaffer Rd., where the resident was found to be okay.

March 15 – Antwerp Police Department responded to an alarm at First United Presbyterian Church.

March 16 – An officer handled a call involving two adult males contacting each other on Facebook and sending bad things about each other on Facebook. Antwerp Police also unlocked a vehicle for a citizen.

March 18 – Antwerp Police Department responded to an unruly customer at Pop and Brew. Disorderly conduct charges have been filed.

March 19 – An officer responded to a car alarm at a residence on Woodcox St. Antwerp Police assisted a local attorney with a next-of-kin death notification, responded to an alarm at a local business, and conducted a golf cart inspection.

March 20 – A resident reported striking a deer just outside the village limits. An officer responded to a theft report at a residence on N. Main St. Antwerp Police also assisted Antwerp EMS and Fire Department with a call on E. River St.

March 21 – An officer handled a call regarding unruly juveniles. Officers also responded to a barking dog complaint on S. Main St. and a report of a possible suicidal individual, making contact with the person and family members for assistance.

March 23 – Antwerp Police Department continued an investigation into a domestic violence incident. Officers also responded to a vehicle unlock request at 511 N. Main, where the vehicle was successfully unlocked.

March 24 – Antwerp Police Department assisted Antwerp EMS at a residence on Main St.
