Antwerp Honors Seniors, Earns Two Wins on Senior Night Mat

Senior Night at Antwerp turned into a memorable evening on the mat as the Archers honored seniors Cami McAlexander, Griffin Kosch, Landon Orozco, and Haydyn Lengacher during a competitive home wrestling meet on January 6. Surrounded by family, teammates, and supporters, the night celebrated both the seniors’ contributions and a strong overall performance by Antwerp Archers. The Archers picked up two team victories, defeating Fairview 42–18 and edging Edgerton 27–22, while falling to Parkway by a 46–23 score.

Antwerp’s junior high wrestlers set the tone early, with Adelynne Slattman and Cooper Nestleroad each going 2–0 with two pins. At the high school level, several Archers delivered standout performances. Gage Clevinger posted a perfect 3–0 record with a pin, Zac Salas also went 3–0, and Keegan Gray-Wyckoff finished 3–1 with a pin. Griffin Kosch, one of the honored seniors, went 2–1 with two pins, while fellow senior Landon Orozco added a 2–1 night of his own. Haylee Lingenfelter went 2–0, Braxton Peters and Maddilan Doster each earned wins, and Senior Cami McAlexander recorded a pin in her matches.
