The Antwerp Chamber of Commerce celebrated two local businesses with a ribbon-cutting ceremony held Monday, January 12, 2026, welcoming both a returning business and a new boutique to Main Street in downtown Antwerp.

Junque & Barnwood Creations began on South Main Street in 2018 before relocating to the corner of Road 192 and State Route 49 North in 2020. The business has now returned to town, moving into a newly renovated Main Street building owned by Jeff Cook. Junque & Barnwood Creations will share the space with Evangeline Street Boutique, bringing a complementary mix of home décor, vintage and antique “junque” and trendy fashion retail to the heart of the village.

The Antwerp Chamber of Commerce officially welcomed Evangeline Street Boutique to the Antwerp business community during the ceremony and expressed enthusiasm for working together in the future. Present for that ribbon cutting were, from left to right, Lora Lyons, Sue Fowler and Heather Matusiak, Chamber members; Aria Clem, owner, with Elsi Clem and Regan Clem; Michelle Walker and Tonya Walker, chamber members; Jessica Stechschulte with Paulding County Economic Development; and Jennifer Ankney and Jennifer Ramsier, Chamber members.

Evangeline Street Boutique originally opened in November 2024 at Glenbrook Mall in Fort Wayne, Indiana. Owner Aria Clem, an Antwerp native, chose to bring her business back to her hometown, saying the opportunity to share space with Junque & Barnwood Creations was a natural fit. Evangeline Street Boutique features the latest trends in women’s and teen fashion and adds another unique shopping destination to Antwerp’s growing downtown business district.

The shared building, formerly the Antwerp Pharmacy, is located across the street from the H2O Water Store and represents another step forward in the continued revitalization of the downtown area.

Antwerp Chamber encourages all to support local businesses. When residents choose to shop local, they invest directly in their neighbors and in the continued vitality of downtown districts like Antwerp’s. The growth of small businesses not only enhances economic stability but also fosters a sense of pride and connection that defines rural communities.
