PCED Celebrates 25th Annual Business & Industry Recognition Banquet

The Paulding County Economic Development (PCED) Office hosted its 25th annual Business and Industry Recognition Banquet this week, bringing together 187 local leaders, business owners, educators, and community members for an evening of networking, collaboration, and reflection on the accomplishments of 2025.
The event was sponsored by the Regional Growth Partnership (RGP)/JobsOhio, represented by Chase Eikenbary, who spoke about regional economic progress and continued efforts to support business development across Northwest Ohio. PCED Diamond Member Bryan Keller also addressed attendees, highlighting ongoing investments in Antwerp and the broader Paulding County region.
Estee Blair provided an update on projects through the Paulding County Land Bank and Maumee Valley Planning Organization (MVPO), focusing particularly on transformation efforts underway in the Village of Grover Hill. Students Eli and Kenzi Johnson were also featured, sharing insights into the Wayne Trace Local Schools STEAM Center—an initiative supported by PCED membership that continues to expand opportunities for local youth in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics.
A highlight of the evening was the presentation of the Paulding County Mayor of the Year award to Village of Haviland Mayor Ed Ruger, recognized for his dedication, leadership, and service to his community.
Throughout the banquet, guests enjoyed live music from the Stringato Quartet, adding a festive backdrop to an evening filled with camaraderie, valuable information, and celebration of countywide progress.
PCED extended its thanks to everyone who attended and contributed to another successful and uplifting #pauldingcountystrong event.
