Antwerp Village Police Reports

On October 19 an inmate called requested a welfare check for his mother.
On October 22 a domestic dispute occurred and the police responded and investigated. One party had fled prior to the officer arriving. The police issued a warrant for the arrest.
On October 22 the Antwerp police department located 2 individuals in the village who had a warrant for their arrest. They were found and transported to the jail.
On October 23 the police had a contact of a stop sign down at Erie and Main Street.
On October 23 an officer observed an accident on Water Plant drove. The officer prepared a report.
An October 23 the police received a call for a child custody issue. The officer contacted the other party and was able to resolve the issue.
On October 24 an officer arrested a resident of Washington St who had a warrant for their arrest. The person was transported to the Paulding County jail.
On October 26 a resident was contacted by the Paulding County Sheriff’s Office. The Bryan Police Department said a resident from Antwerp was causing telephone harassment and asked an officer to go down and stop.
On October 27 the police department was contacted in reference to a debit card left at the ATM. The owner was contacted and the card was retrieved.
On October 29 a vehicle was stopped for giving 53 MPH. The juvenile driver was cited for going over 35 MPH.
November 1 an officer was contacted about a domestic dispute on Washington St. The officer investigated and an arrest was made. The case has been forwarded to the prosecutor.
On November 1 a resident requested their vehicle to be unlocked and the officer was able to assist.
On November 2 a resident of Woodcox St noted that there were youth at the park shooting off fireworks. The officer responded and found no youth, damage or fireworks.
On November 4 the Police department requested to stand by while a former resident removed their contents from a roommate’s house.-
On November 3 a resident of Oswalt Street reported a semi truck/trailer along the roadway and it was reported to the police. The officer talked to the owner of the truck and the truck and trailer were removed.
