Geenex / Mink Solar Host Open House & Office Warming in Antwerp

Mink Solar Antwerp office is set up in the renovated building on S. Main St. In downtown Antwerp that used to house H&H Cleaners.

This past week, the Geenex / Mink Solar companies hosted an official opening to the office space in downtown Antwerp, OH. They are now housed in the recently renovated building that used to belong to H&H Cleaners on S. Main St. (122 S. Main St., Antwerp, OH). Geenex representatives, including Antwerp liaison, Angie Freese, were hosting numerous community members who were anxious about the new proposed solar project that is planned for the area north of Antwerp at the Paulding County & Defiance County lines. This solar project is projected to be a 140 megawatt power supplier that potentially generate enough green energy for 25,000 homes. A statement from one of Mink Solar’s regional representatives, Aerin Garczyk, “Our team is pleased to have the opportunity to develop the Mink Solar Project. Geenex Solar looks forward to building long-lasting relationships with community members and elected officials as we develop the Mink Solar Project.”

Geenex / Mink Solar representatives discussed the solar project & its impacts on the land and landowners at the recent Antwerp office open house.

Geenex is anticipating working with the local farmers and landowners in this development stage of the project. There are some who have their reservations about green energy, and Geenex wants to help with education and clarification of the entire process.
