The EACS board of school trustees recognized Diane “Dee” Vasquez for her stellar performance as a driver. Recently, a community member was pulled over on the side of the road to make a phone call. The community member noticed an EACS bus had stopped to let a child off. The bus driver did not pull off right away because the circumstance could have seemed a little suspicious to her so Ms. Vasquez stayed to be sure the student was safe.
The driver contacted Mr. Myers, director of transportation for
EACS saying how proud she was of the bus driver for being vigilant in watching out for student’s safety!
Ms. Diane “Dee” Vasquez has been a bus driver for EACS since August, 2010!
