HERITAGE LIONS OF HOAGLAND DONATE TO MANY ORGANIZATIONS

The Heritage Lions of Hoagland were at the Monroeville Harvest Festival for three days. They sold ice cream from their popular trailer, and burgers, hot dogs, pulled pork, popcorn and pop and water out of the concession stand. All proceeds from their sales will go to local EMS and fire departments, food banks and many other worthy organizations.

Heritage Lions have donated well over $120,000 to local organizations in the past 10 years. Recipients have included Monroeville Fire and EMS, Monroeville Park, Cornerstone, Hoagland Fire and EMS, Poe Fire and EMS, and the three local food banks. Several Heritage High School donations have also been made, including Prom/After Prom and money for the Heritage Band and the JV team uniforms. Heritage Lions have provided funds for many eye-related projects including Lions School For the Blind, Lions Eye Bank, and Lions Dog For the Blind. They have conducted local in-school eye exams and provided transportation for blind bowlers.
