Make Sure Your Absentee Ballot Is Counted!

TO ENSURE YOUR ABSENTEE BALLOT REQUEST IS PROCESSED, PLEASE DO THE FOLLOWING:

1. Complete all sections that are marked “Required”.

2. In Section 6, make sure you have filled in the type of ballot you are requesting. For the 2020 primary election, the choices are Republican, Democrat, Libertarian, or Issues Only

3. The “Date of Election” in Section 6 is March 17, 2020, NOT today’s date.

3. Review that all REQUIRED fields are complete.

4. Contact information is appreciated if you should have any questions.

5. Cut out, sign, and date your form.

6. Mail the completed form to your local county board of elections.

NEXT STEPS:

Once your absentee ballot request is received by your county board of elections, your application will be processed and your ballot will be mailed to the mailing address you provided. The board of elections will be prepaying return postage for this election ONLY. The last day the board of elections office can mail a ballot is Saturday, April 25 at Noon.

Once you receive your ballot, and to make sure your ballot is counted, you may hand deliver your ballot to your board of elections by 7:30 p.m. on April 28 OR postmarked by April 27 and delivered by mail to your board of elections by May 8. The U.S. Postal Service (USPS) estimates that it may take three to five days for your voted absentee ballot to be delivered to your board of elections by mail.
