Sinn Announces his Candidacy for PC Commissioner

My name is Tom Sinn and I’m excited to announce my candidacy for Paulding County Commissioner. I am running unopposed in the March primary but will be on the Democratic ticket on the November ballot.

Many of you know me but for those who do not, I am a lifelong resident of Latty. I graduated from Wayne Trace High School in 1974 and started my career locally by assisting with the family business, Don & Perry’s. I then joined Hartzog Lumber Company and later Alltel, where I was employed for 14 years. I have also been a bus driver for Wayne Trace Local Schools for the past 15 years. I am also an active member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish.

I have dedicated much of my life to public service, having held multiple positions in local politics since 1979. Currently, I am the Mayor of Latty and the Zoning Inspector for Paulding and Benton Townships and Payne Village. In these roles I have assisted with the following accomplishments: first-time purchase of snow equipment for the village; purchase of the Penn Central railroad property and its transformation into a recreational park; development of a $1.3M sewer system; and creation of a new townhall for council meetings, which also provides an office for our Fiscal Officer.

As a proud member of our community, I look forward to your vote in November.
