Vantage Students Qualify for HOSA State Competition

Congratulations to the Vantage Career Center students who placed in the top three of their category at the 2020 Health Occupation Students of America (HOSA) Regional competition and will be moving on to state. Health Information Management junior, Halie Davis (Antwerp), Silver, Behavioral Health and senior Rachel Breese (Parkway), Gold, Medical Law and Ethics. Health Technology seniors Emma Zielke (Antwerp), Gold, Human Growth and Development and Chloe Kunkleman (Delphos Jefferson), Silver, Dental Terminology! 

HOSA competitive events are designed to provide a system for recognizing the competencies developed by members through Health and Biomedical Science class instruction, related to training and activities. Competitors are evaluated according to set standards of performance by professionals from the health care community appropriate to each event. The Health Occupation Students of America state competition will be held on March 31 through April 1 in Columbus, Ohio. Best wishes to our Vantage students competing at state competition!
