Antwerp Chamber of Commerce spotlight for September is Carryall Trucking, LTD. which is owned and operated by Nathan Zuber.

Nathan was raised in the Antwerp community and was motivated to start his trucking business because of memories of riding along with his father, Steve Zuber, when he was a young boy. He enjoyed being high up in the truck and being the “king of the road.”  As he grew older he knew that he wanted to be able to drive for himself and make his own rules. Because of these young experiences as a boy, the idea of Carryall Trucking was born.

Carryall Trucking is a local, general transportation company mainly hauling automotive freight.  Drivers are generally home every night which is one perk for his drivers. One of Nathan’s goals is to eventually provide warehousing in addition to the transportation.

The business was started in late 2015 with one truck.  At that time Nathan was picking up for Menards and delivering to them.  At that time there were no trailers. Now the business has grown to 4 trucks and 12 trailers.  The newest truck is a 2013 Prostar.

Carryall Trucking is best known for its personal and attentive customer service.   They are able to provide a quick turnaround for customers in the area. If you call Nathan, he will do his best to meet your expectations.

One thing that sets Nathan and his business apart from others are the dedicated runs that stay local. Because of this, drivers are able to be home at night. That keeps the drivers happy.   Occasionally, they may have a long trip, but that is rare.  They drive for 3 main companies at this time but are happy to help out any new clients.

One funny anecdote about the business is the time Nathan ran his truck out of fuel about 300 yards from the delivery point. At that point, Nathan had to walk to the business in order to get more fuel for his truck.  He claims that happened once and will not happen again.

Nathan is most proud of the drivers that he has. Without them working hard, putting in the hours, and doing what is asked of them, Carryall Trucking would not exist.  Tyler Coressel, Tyler Stewart, Rustin McDonald and Jim Franklin are currently driving for Carryall Trucking.  The drivers average about 25-30 trips a week. Currently, Carryall Trucking is looking to hire part time drivers with the potential for full time drivers in the future as the business continues to grow.
