Kiwanis talk travel

Kiwanis member Michelle Stahl introduced Land and Cruise Specialist Heather Grennay. Grennay works with Cruise Planners, a company that helps you book, not only cruises, but trips around the world including airfare, hotels, entertainment, and more! Grennay has a background in sales and used to sell cars, then moved to selling international trucks.

After leaving that industry in February of 2017 she began working for Cruise Planners. She works from the convenience of her home or wherever she has WIFI. Her first, and still to this day favorite trip was to Europe when she was in high school. She’s now traveled to numerous countries and enjoys helping others do the same.

Unlike some agents Grennay doesn’t have a travel agent fee. Her services are free to you. Cruise Planners is a partner of American Express’s, but you don’t need to be an American Express card holder to book with her. Although you can use your points towards a trip if you do have a card with AE. As a travel agent Grennay has a lot of resources exclusive to her, so helping you find the best, and cheapest deal is made easier. Grennay has even caught travelers’ mistakes before, which has saved their vacation completely.

Grennay shared stories about some clients she has helped and how much she enjoys helping others travel the world or take a relaxing cruise to a far off beach. Something Cruise Planners offers is special needs at sea, which is a program designed to make vacation fun for everyone. They have access to wheelchairs made for sandy beaches and other accommodations that makes vacation a breeze. Planning a destination wedding, corporate getaway, or just a fun ole family vacation? Kiwanis members were in the travel mood after her presentation. Our next meeting will be held on a sandy beach in Jamaica!
