PCH Board Appoints CEO

The Board of Trustees for Paulding County Hospital announced that Ron Goedde has been appointed CEO effective January 9, 2019.  Goedde will fill the position vacated by Randal Ruge who is retiring February 1, 2019 after 17 years with the hospital.

Mr. Goedde has been in healthcare for 29 years beginning his career as a Registered Nurse then evolving into hospital finance.  He earned two degrees at the University of Toledo- a baccalaureate degree in nursing and a Master’s in Business Administration.  He has worked at Mercy Health where he oversaw finance for 5 hospitals and at the University of Toledo Medical College (UTMC) , the former MCO.  At UTMC he had a strategic role as Executive Director of Finance and Reimbursement.  Goedde teaches business classes at the University of Toledo.  In addition to his experience in healthcare, he farms in the Leipsic area with his brothers and father.  

Currently he resides in Toledo with his wife Deb.  They have plans to relocate to the area.  Together they have two children that attend college.
