Freda M. Bidlack Bok Obituary

PAULDING, OH:

Freda M. Bidlack Bok age 95 died Sunday, November 11, 2018 at the Country Inn Enhanced Living Center, Paulding.

She was born in Woodburn, Indiana, on May 8, 1923 the daughter of Alphonso and Adeline Bush (DeLong) Stevenson. They both precede her in death. She was a graduate of Mark Center, High School. On November 27, 1943 she married Clarence Bidlack, a WWII veteran and prisoner of war in Austria. He preceded her in death on June 21, 1975. She then married WWII veteran, William Bok on April 8, 1978. He preceded her in death on December 15, 2005.

She is survived by her children: Bonnie (John) Pier, Oakwood, Rita (Cledith) Farris, Grover Hill, Judy (Kenneth) Bowers, Paulding, and Aaron (Debra) Bidlack Sr., Grover Hill; grandchildren: Rusty (Christina) Pier, Toby (Danielle) Pier, Tamara (Travis) Claypool, Carrie (Brian) Ellerbrock, Brian (Laura) Farris, Kenji (Tim) Harvey, Danny (Tracy) Bowers, Brandon (Bernadine) Tobias, Aaron Steven Bidlack Jr, and Ashley (Casey) Louth; great grandchildren: Dereck Gilbert, Holdden and Brayten Pier, Macy Pier, Donald, Josiah, Abigail, Samuel, Philip, Miriam, Elizabeth, Joanna, Gloria, John and Benjamin Ellerbrock, Destiny and Cassie Pier, Jarrod, Tyler, Hunter Farris, Drew Messmann, Jordin Riddle, Quinton, Wyatt, and Chloe Stabler, Austin and Brandy Bowers, Chase and Blake Louth, Hayden and Adelynn Tobias; and great great-grandchildren: Bennett Wright, Oaklyn and Annisten Riddle, Everett Farris, and Lincoln Bowers.

She is also preceded in death by her brothers, George, Harmon, and Harry, and grandson, Rolland Tobias.

She was a homemaker, wife, mother, grandmother, and great grandmother. She was active in Paulding County Home Demonstration Club, Livewires 4-H Club; 75-year active member of the Roselms and Pomona Grange, Farm Bureau, John Paulding Historical Society, Roselms Ladies Aid and her church- Rose Elms Christian Church.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM Friday, November 16, 2018 at Roselms Christian Church. She will be laid to rest in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill.

Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM Thursday, November 15 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. There will also be visitation on Friday from 10 AM until time of services at the church.
