On Thursday, September 6 the Paulding Chamber of Commerce held their monthly After Hours networking event at the broadcasting station and studio of WMYW on Country Road 176. Off the Clock was attended by community leaders from all over the county who participated and took tours through the facility. Many people stopped in for the tour and the good food.

A contest to guess the height of the radio tower was very competitive, but at the end of the evening, it was Mark Holtsberry who had the correct height at 300 feet.

WMYW and the Paulding Chamber of Commerce gave away numerous prizes and trinkets of the radio station to those who attended.

Joe Barker, Executive Director WMYW, showcased their newly wrapped trailer for everyone to see along with all of the equipment that it takes to make the facilities run. Those who work with the radio station include Terry Carwile, Engineer/Programmer; Bruce Essex, Public Service Announcement Coordinator; Michelle O’Dell, Social Media; Dusty Sonnenberg, MyFarm Radio Program Host.

The evening was beautiful and the turnout was a crowd. Local businesses are working to grow and WMYW has done a great job of showcasing businesses and events from around the area!
