The Antwerp VFW Post #5087 takes pride in their country and their town. They want to support all the local departments that helps keep its citizens safe. Periodically, the VFW collects funds that they then donate to such organizations. On Friday, July 27th, Bob Johnson of the Antwerp VFW donated $500 each to the police department, fire department, and EMS.
Ray, Ashley and George all commented that these funds are much needed in their departments, and would most likely be used for updating equipment and training supplies.
