Home Builders Association of Fort Wayne, Inc. Welcomes New Executive Director

The HBA of Fort Wayne is proud to announce and welcome Beth Johnson as our new Executive Director. Ms. Johnson will be responsible for executing association goals and objectives, facilitating membership and being the official advocate of the building industry on behalf of the membership.

Ms. Johnson grew up in the Fort Wayne community, a graduate of Homestead High School, and moved back to her hometown a year ago. Previously living in Indianapolis, she was the marketing manager for HWC Engineering, a full service consulting firm. While at HWC, she managed all marketing efforts, specifically dealing with proposal development, conference management, special event coordination and business development opportunities. Ms. Johnson graduated from University of Southern Indiana in 2007 with a bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design and Advertising. In her free time, Beth enjoys spending time with family and friends, snow skiing, outdoor activities and trying new restaurants.

Our organization was chartered in 1944 and incorporated in 1956. We are associated with the National Association of Home Builders and the Indiana Builders Association. Our jurisdiction includes the following counties in Indiana: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Wells, and Whitley.

We promote a positive atmosphere for the building industry, by providing educational opportunities commensurate with member needs, communicating the latest trade and technical information, interacting with all government entities, providing promotional opportunities for its members and their products thereby promoting the building industry and by providing social and fraternal activities for its members.
