Caring for a person with Alzheimer’s disease is a challenge. Changes in the person’s behavior, caused by the progress of the disease, can lead to frustration and anxiety for a caregiver. To help those who care for individuals who have Alzheimer’s disease or a related memory loss disorder, the Alzheimer’s Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, invites anyone who has a family member or friend with memory loss to attend the following support group meeting.
Please join us at our new meeting location, 460 W. Dussel Drive, Maumee, OH on the 3rd Thursday each month at 10:00 a.m. (Previous meeting location was at 2508 N. Reynolds Road, Toledo, OH). For more information about this Toledo support group, call Bob Hausch at 419-537-1999.
This meeting is free and open to the community. Caregivers attending a support group meeting find a relaxed, confidential atmosphere. They are among other caregivers and discuss suggestions for handling specific medical, legal, behavioral and financial problems.
