Kerry L Lanz age 72 formerly of Paulding, Ohio went sweetly into the arms of his Savior on Saturday, May 5, 2017.
Kerry was born on July 2,1945 in Paulding, Ohio to Elmer and Clare (Buehler) Lanz. He was the older brother to Susan (Willy) Tops of Brussels, Belgium, Christy Romoser and Jennifer (Mark) Higinbotham both of Seattle, Washington and Julie (Dwight) Weber of Spring Arbor, Michigan.
Kerry graduated from Blue Creek High School and Sum Cum Laude from the University of Toledo.
In 1969, he married the love of his life, Kathryn Gray. They had three children, daughters Andrea Lanz (Matt Starr) and Tracey (Karl) Hoalst both of Cincinnati, Ohio and a son Austin Lanz of Columbus, Ohio. Also surviving are the most precious grandchildren Sydney Clare and Tristan Blaine of Cincinnati, Ohio.
Kerry lived in Paulding County for 55 years, enjoying farming and running a propane business. He retired in 2007 after selling Anchor Propane. He was a member of Calvary Alliance Church in Cincinnati, Ohio.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 AM Saturday, May 12, 2018 at the Paulding Church of the Nazarene. Burial will follow the services at the Latty Apostolic Christian Church Cemetery Latty, Ohio. Visitation will be Friday, May 11, 2018 at the DenHerder Funeral home Paulding, Ohio from 2:00 to 7:00 PM and one hour prior to funeral services at the church on Saturday.
In lieu of flowers Kerry’s family request memorials to the Paulding Church of the Nazarene or Hospice of Cincinnati, Ohio.
