The Paulding County Board of Developmental Disabilities Self Advocacy Group met on Tuesday, February 13, 2018. They discussed naming the group and were able to come up with a few ideas, but decided to table to vote until more members were present. The book Stone Soup was shared and the group discussed what they felt the book was talking about. Putting what they discussed into action, they made their own ‘Stone Soup’ by bringing in vegetables to be added to the pot. The soup was then donated to the Defiance College Social Work Organization’s 18th annual Empty Bowls that was held on February 15th at the Knights of Columbus in Defiance.
