Gary W. Lipp age 69 died Tuesday, December 12, 2017 in the Methodist Hospital, Indianapolis, IN.
He was born February 5, 1948 in Defiance, Ohio, the son of Harold and Freda (Elser) Lipp. On December 27, 1969 he married Janice L. Werling, who preceded him in death on July 11, 2014. He retired in 1998 from GM Power Train, Defiance. He was a member of Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding; UAW #211; Knights of Columbus St. Joseph Council #2584, Paulding; and Lions Club. He was an avid Coin Collector; a Little League Coach, and Pee Wee Red’s Coach.
He is survived by his sons, Brian (Adrienne) Lipp, Mitchell, IN; Michael (Carrie) Lipp, Phoenix, AZ, and Aaron (Caroline) Lipp, Greenwood, IN; a sister, Carol (Gary) Hume, Fishers, IN; and 8 grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted 10 AM Monday, December 18 at Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding, with Rev. Joseph Poggemeyer officiating. Burial will follow in Paulding Memorial Cemetery.
Visitation will be 2 – 8 PM Sunday, December 17 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding, with a wake service at 7:30 PM.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations made to Divine Mercy Catholic Parish, Paulding; Galgo Scuby North America; or Greyhounds of Eastern Michigan.
