WOODBURN – Angola outscored host Woodlan 19-8 in the first quarter and the Hornets never looked back as they rolled into a 66-25 win over the Warriors Saturday night in non-league girls basketball action.

Ali Cranston and Ali Korntz each scored a dozen points for Angola, which improved to 3-1 on the season.

Addison Bayman had 13 points for the Warriors, who fall to 2-2 overall.

Angola led 32-13 at halftime before the Hornets pushed the margin to 50-20 entering the final period.

Lexia Holmes and Madi Koos each earned 4 points for Woodlan with Gabby Joyce and Hanna Albertson posting 2 markers each.

Bayman had 9 rebounds to top the Lady Warriors while Albertson and Holmes also grabbed 5 rebounds each for Woodlan.

Koos dished out 3 assists and Bayman recorded 6 steals for Woodlan.
