The Paulding County eight and under boys baseball league tournament was held in Payne in June with the M.P. Kuhn/Baughman Tile team from Payne winning the league tournament championship. The squad won the title after posting three straight wins on the final night of the tournament, defeating My 102.7 FM of Paulding in the loser’s bracket before getting past Paulding Eagles in back-to-back games for the league title.
