Summer Enrichment Program

Paulding County Board of Developmental Disabilities is excited to offer a summer enrichment program to children ages 3 – 15, who qualify for county board services. The program, which will run from July 10th thru August 4th, will be held at Parc Lane Center, 900 Fairground Dr. in Paulding. A nominal fee of $30 will be charged, however, no child will be turned away due to inability to pay. The program will be divided into two groups- preschool children (ages 3-6) and school aged children (ages 7-15).

The preschool group will be meeting on Monday and Wednesday, with a morning and afternoon session. The times for the sessions will be 9-11:30 am and 12-2:30pm. There will be a teacher and an aide, focusing on group play and arts and craft projects.

The school aged children will attend on Tuesday and Thursday from 9am – 3pm. There will be a teacher and two aides, leading the group in arts & craft projects, activities, including community outings/field trips.

Transportation will not be provided to and from the program site, therefore, families must be able to arrange for drop off and pick up.

There is a maximum number of children per group. For preschool there is a maximum of 10 kids per session and the school age session will have a maximum of 15 kids. The deadline to enroll in this program is Friday, June 23, 2017.
