Statewide Ford Lincoln is proud to help Operation Back to School with a donation to provide Van Wert County Area school students with free backpacks, school supplies and other back to school essentials. Presenting Julie Burenga from Operation Back to School and Van Wert First United Methodist Church, are Steve Munroe, Brad Greve and Andy Czajkowski.
First United Methodist Church, located at 113 W Central Avenue in Van Wert, in partnership with many Van Wert businesses and churches, has set the date of Sunday, July 30th for their 2nd Annual Operation Back to School event. The free event provides backpacks, school supplies, and hygiene items to Van Wert County families in need. Students in pre-school through high school may be pre-registered online at www.vanwertfirst.net by following the ‘Operation Back to School’ Student Registration link or stop by the church office to fill out a registration form. The event will begin at 3:00 p.m, ending at 5:00 p.m, with games and food for the entire family. Plan on joining us!
