Neal Duane Burk, 64, of New Haven, IN, passed away at home on Saturday, June 3, 2017.
Neal was born in Paulding on January 31, 1953 a son of the late Richard & Norma Jean (Fulk) Burk.
He served his country in the U.S. Marines from 1971 – 1974 & was a Carpenter at Weigand in Fort Wayne. He was a member of the Antwerp Community Church & Payne American Legion Post 297, where he was commander & 1st vice commander. He also was director of the Legion Riders and helped with benefits for “Miles for Mills” to fund ALS research. He also was very comfortable hunting & at the end of a fishing rod.
Neal will be sadly missed by his wife, Carol (Peters) whom he married June 4, 2011; children, Brandy Jarrell, Sarah (Charlie) Mast, Denver (Melissa) Miller & Kimberly (Brian) Danner; siblings, Valerie Williams, Patrick (Mary) Burk & Melanie (Jay) Perry; 10 grandchildren; 1 great grandchild & a host of nieces & nephews.
His memorial service is 10 am, Saturday, June 17, 2017 at Payne Church of the Nazarene.
