Memorial Day plans are being made by the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 2873 in Grover Hill. On Monday, May 29th, the day will start with a pancake and sausage breakfast at the post hall on South Main Street, beginning at 7:00 a.m. and running until 10:00 a.m. A free will offering will be taken and take outs will also be available. Come and join us for breakfast, stay and enjoy visiting with friends and neighbors, and then join us afterwards at the cemetery.
At 11:30 a.m. Memorial Services will be conducted by the Post at Middle Creek Cemetery southeast of Grover Hill. Music will be provided by the Wayne Trace High School Band. Speaker for the program will be Pastor Jeffrey Miller. The public is encouraged to attend.
