Shirley A. Bidlack, 91, of Grover Hill, OH, passed away at 9:57 a.m. on Monday, March 6, 2017 at Vancrest Nursing Home, Van Wert, OH.
She was born July 13,1925 in Toledo, OH to Dennis and Viola (Roberts) Thrasher. On October 2, 1943 she married R. Paul Bidlack, who survives.
She was a homemaker, a member of Mandale Church of Christ, Mandale, OH, was a graduate of Grover Hill High School and enjoyed sewing, crocheting and singing.
She is survived by her children: Connie (Tom) Baldwin, New Haven, IN; Paulette (Richard) Stemen, Payne, OH; Patricia Bidlack, Grover Hill, OH; Rudy (Ellen) Bidlack, Scott, OH; Daughter-in-laws: Cheryl Bidlack, Van Wert, OH; Jenni Bidlack, Grover Hill, OH; Grandchildren: Angie Wyss, Shari Hegerfeld, Christie Wright, Broc Bidlack, Brian Bidlack, Kent Stemen, Cameron Bidlack, Lynn Bidlack, Ryan Bidlack, Dustin Bidlack & Heather Grant; 28 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great-grandchildren.
She his preceded in death by her parents; her brother, Guy Mansfield; sisters Orpha Collier, Eva Wilson, Nova Scarbrough and a sister who passed in infancy.
Funeral service will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 11:00 a.m. at Mandale Church of Christ, Mandale, OH, with Rev. Don Rogers officiating. Visitation will be from 2:00 – 8:00 p.m. Friday, March 10, 2017 at Alspach–Gearhart Funeral Home & Crematory, Van Wert, OH and one hour prior to funeral services Saturday at the church.
Burial in Middle Creek Cemetery, Grover Hill, OH.
In lieu of flowers, due to flower allergies, the family asks that memorials be directed to Mandale Church of Christ or Grover Hill EMS.
