The Heritage’s Girls’ Soccer team was recently recognized by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America and the EACS Board of School Trustees with the 2015-16 High School Academic Award! The Lady Patriot soccer team was one of 387 teams nationwide recognized for exemplary performance in the classroom as a team during the 2015-16 academic year. To qualify for this award, the team must have a minimum grade point average of 3.25 for the entire academic year. The Lady Patriot team average was 3.52!
The National Soccer Coaches Association of America also announced the Team Ethics and Sportsmanship Award recipients. The Lady Patriots were awarded the Gold level award. There were only two teams in the State of Indiana to receive this award – Lady Patriots one of them!
