Bulldogs Bite Down on the Archers

On Friday, October 28th, the New Haven Bulldogs ventured into the heart of Fort Wayne to take on the South Side Archers. The Bulldogs had managed a flawless season thus far, and they showed no signs of giving that up now. Going into the first quarter, New Haven immediately took the lead, scoring two touchdowns before the second quarter. The Archers did not trail too far behind, as they scored a touchdown with the point after kick. In the second quarter, the Bulldogs added ten more points with a touchdown, a point after, and a field goal. South Side, on the other hand, could not break through New Haven’s defense. The score at half time was 23-7.

Reenergized from the break, the Bulldogs came back to add three more touchdowns in the third quarter. The Archers managed to get past the New Haven defense and score a touchdown as well. The fourth quarter slowed the Bulldogs down, as they only scored a single touchdown. South Side maintained it’s current pace and added another touchdown.

The final score of the game was 51-19, with the New Haven Bulldogs taking home the win.
