Bulldogs Bite the Vikings

On Friday, October 14th, the New Haven Bulldogs traveled into Viking territory to take on Huntington North in football. The Bulldogs were as confident as ever, as their season record showed their impressive gameplay.

Going into the first quarter, New Haven wasted no time taking the lead, scoring the first touchdown of the game. Within this quarter, the Bulldogs went on to score the next two touchdowns as well. New Haven’s defense was also on point, as they defended the field and would not allow the Vikings to score.

The second quarter had a similar outcome. The New Haven Bulldogs managed only one touchdown, but also scored a field goal, adding an additional 3 points. Once again, the defense was able to hold off Huntington North’s advancements. The score at halftime was 30-0.

Coming back from halftime, New Haven continued their momentum and brought in two more touchdowns. Huntington North was still unable to get on the board. In the fourth quarter, it seemed as if both teams ran out of steam and both teams did not score. The final score of the game was 42-0. The score by quarter goes as follows: New Haven-Huntington North: 21-0, 9-0, 12-0, 0-0; Final: 42-0

New Haven claimed the North East 8 Conference title, having gone the entire season undefeated. There was no question about their victory in the conference.
