The Paulding County Hospital Board of Trustees donated $15,000 to the Bargain Bin of Paulding County, Inc. building fund. The Bargain Bin originated in the 1960s to assist polio victims by funding therapy at Magnetic Springs. When the current Paulding County Hospital was erected the Bargain Bin began supporting patients to receive therapy at the hospital. Much of that support was in the form of equipment purchases.

As the disease was cured the Bargain Bin continued to support the hospital’s mission by providing equipment for rehabilitation and other uses.  Their donations have totaled near a million dollars by some estimates.
