The game at Antwerp started with the Lady Archers on Tuesday, September 13, taking the first two sets fairly easily against the Lady Pilots but after that the tide turned. Ayersville started the third set strong and Antwerp struggled.

The sets were tied at 2 each, sending the match to a fifth set when Antwerp took over and finished the game. The score by set goes as follows: Antwerp over Ayersville 25-19, 25-20, 13-25, 18-25, 15-10

Antwerp is now 9-0 overall and 2-0 in the Green Meadows Conference.

This is probably the closest game that Antwerp has had all season. Although it was a struggle, the Lady Archers still came out on top! A few of the Antwerp leaders of the game included: Peyton Short – 24 assists, 14 digs, 18-19 serving, five aces; Chloe Franklin – 17 assists; Hope Smith – 20 digs, eight blocks; Rachel Williamson – 19 digs, five blocks, 25 kills; Kaitlyn Hamman – four blocks, nine kills; Sydney Sheedy – 14-17 serving, two aces, 13 kills
