Erma Jean Coak Rebber Strahley

Strahley, ErmaErma Jean Coak Rebber Strahley, age 84 died Thursday, August 18, 2016.

She was born April 14, 1932 in Payne, Ohio, the daughter of the late Raymond and Essie (Bradford) Sharp. She retired from Paulding Exempted Village Schools and was a member of Paulding Eagles #2405 Auxiliary; Paulding VFW #587 Auxiliary; and Paulding Co. Hospital Benevolent Society.

She is survived by her children: Mitchell (Karen) Coak, Capon Bridge, WV, Mick (Angie) Coak, Paulding, Brenda (Gene) Bland, Centerville, OH, Robin (Joe) Coak, Plainfield , CT, Kent Coak, Kokomo, IN, and Mark (Kim) Rebber, Paulding; 16 grandchildren; and many great grandchildren.

She is also preceded in death by a daughter, Cindy Postma; 2 brothers, Edward and Everett Sharp, sister, Ethelina Dix, and a great granddaughter.

Funeral services will be conducted 11 AM on Tuesday, August 23 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. Burial will follow in Wiltsie Cemetery, Payne.

Visitation will be 4 – 8 PM Monday, August 22 at Den Herder Funeral Home, Paulding. There will also be visitation from 10 Am until service time on Tuesday.

In lieu of flowers the family suggests donations made to Paulding Co. Hospital Benevolent Society or CHP Defiance Inpatient Hospice.
