Rotary Exchange Student, Derek Reeb, is returning to the US (Antwerp), after almost a year in Germany. He was hosted by two different families throughout his stay, and grew close to all involved. He said that he made some German friends in school, and also spent time meeting with other exchange students from all over the world. Derek went on the Rotex Europa Tour, which was a 3-week trip through Europe. His favorite spots were Vienna, Budapest, Prague and Rome, because they were all beautiful and full of life. The Rotary Youth Exchange program is a wonderful opportunity for outgoing and incoming students that gives them the opportunity to travel, meet people, and learn new cultures. Derek appreciates the RYE for this amazing experience. There will be a homecoming party for Derek on Saturday, July 9 from 1:00-5:00 p.m. at the MAC gym (the old school). This is an open house, so come and welcome him home!
