Paulding Carnegie Library to Host Centennial Festival

library ready to openThe Paulding County Carnegie Library will be hosting a Centennial Festival on Saturday, July 9, 2016 in conjunction with John Paulding Days. This event will be held from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. at the main historic Carnegie library in Paulding and will be a celebration of ‘old-fashioned fun’. “The library has providing service to Paulding County residents for over 100 years,” shared Susan Pieper, Library Director. “This Festival is meant to be a fun day to celebrate Paulding County’s public library.” The festival will include old-fashioned games, a bike parade, refreshments, face-painting and more. Residents are encouraged to bring their lawn chairs and relax on the grounds of the library. The library will be open for business from 10:00 a.m. until 2:00 p.m. that day. All branch libraries will be closed so the staff can help with the festival activities.
