The Apaches and the Raiders faced off on Friday, September 18 at Wayne Trace high school. The game began at 7:00 p.m. with the kickoff from Fairview to the home team. No score took place in the first possessions and penalties for either team until Luke Miller intercepted the pass and the Raiders headed back down to their goal. With about 4 minutes left in the first quarter, the Raider Quarterback, Gabe Wobler made a 9 yard pass to Miller and the first touchdown was scored. The point after failed, but this put the first points on the board at 6-0.

Another touchdown would have been made by the Raiders’ Cole Shepherd had it not been for a penalty that invalidated the play.

The next touchdown was by Shepherd, though, on a 4 yard run and Hunter Showalter proceeded to the point zone for the extra 2 points, moving the Raiders to 14-0 over their rivals.

The last touchdown for the home team derived from Gabe Wobler making a 12 yard pass to Eli Sinn waiting at the goal line, finishing the half at 20-0.

In the second half of the game, neither team scored. Both had 3 fumbles and each lost the ball once. Total offensive yards for the Raiders were 294 while there were 213 for the Apaches.
