With only 12 seconds used on the clock, Paulding posted its first touchdown to the score board on the first play by the incredibly speedy junior Preston Ingol. Next, Wayne Trace got the ball, but struggled to know what to do in the first few minutes. The Panthers got the ball back and this time senior Zach Buchman ran the ball to the end zone and then the crowd was on fire. Unfortunately, the points didn’t count as the flag on the play brought the ball back with a penalty.

After this, the Raiders took the game and ran with it. Paulding may as well have laid down and let the opposition just run over them, because that’s what happened.

The Wayne Trace quarterback was a hot item at this game with passes to Luke Miller, Cole Shepherd, Seth Saylor (three TD’s), along with touchdowns on handoffs by Noah Stoller, and Cole Shepherd in the first half.

The final score for the traditionally most attended game of the year 56-7.

Stats show the complete story: Paulding struggled with passing with only 6 completed yards. While Wayne Trace had 366 on the sheet. Total yards for the Raiders was 487 while Paulding was at 120.

The last time the Panthers won the Black Swamp game was in 2010, making the trophy home at Wayne Trace for the past five years.
