Three members of the Woodlan High School graduating class of 2015 have announced their decision to continue their football careers at the collegiate level. All three were instrumental in leading the Warriors to back to back 8-4 records and leading the way for current Indiana State Sycamore and former Woodlan Warrior Jaylen Bennett, to rush for and set both the Woodlan single season (2,320 yards) and career rushing records (3,913 yards). This past season, the trio blocked for current Woodlan, junior Mitchell VanBrocklin, as he rushed for 1,808 yards.

Defiance College recruit, Hunter Louden was a two way starter and All-Conference selection for the Warriors at offensive tackle and defensive end. In two seasons as the starting defensive end for the Warriors, Hunter recorded 82 tackles and seven sacks.

Trine University recruit Austin Conner was a three year starter for the Warriors at offensive guard. During his career, Austin was selected for All-Conference, Indiana Football Coaches Association 1st team All-State, and will participate in the North/South all-star game in Indianapolis this summer.

Elliott Gunderman has chosen Defiance College to continue his football career.  Elliot was a two year starter at Offensive Tackle for the Warriors. Elliot finished his senior year by being selected All-Conference and named to the Associated Press 2nd team 2A All-State team.
