Do you like working with dogs? Do you enjoy helping people out, too? Mrs. Lynne Mansfield, from Antwerp, came in and talked to Mrs. Pfeiffer’s 3A class at Payne Elementary about her profession as a dog groomer and dog boarder. This worked very well into their curriculum since they have been learning about animals in Life Science. The students were very attentive, asked tons of questions, and learned A LOT from Mrs. Mansfield! They learned what kinds of responsibilities it takes to own a dog, various things she has to do when grooming dogs, and various facts about dogs in general. The Payne Elementary is sponsoring a donation drive during the month of March to support this facility. Dry and canned dog food, dog treats and dog toys will be accepted. Items can be dropped off at the school office.
