Coming off the Route 49 win against Edgerton, the Lady Archers were back in action on Saturday, January 3 at home against Delphos Jefferson.

The Antwerp girls were consistent throughout the game. The first quarter went to Delphos with a small 10-9 lead. The Archers were able to keep them in check well with half the points from junior Kianna Recker.
The second quarter’s top scorer for the home team was Rachel Williamson with five, ending up with the highest points in the game for the Archers. The 1st half ended tied at 16 all.

The second half allowed the Wildcats to gain a small lead and the fourth quarter extended that by quite a bit. The Archers, before time ran out, was able to score several more points and keep the game in check. The game finished at 31-35 and the win went to the visitors.
