INDOT: Coliseum Blvd Road Construction

Lanes restricted as crews work on temporary bridge and setting of barrier wall

RoadConstructionDaytime SR 930/Coliseum Boulevard Eastbound and Westbound Lane Restrictions in Fort Wayne Scheduled to Begin on Thursday, March 20.

FORT WAYNE, Ind. – The Indiana Department of Transportation (INDOT) announces that starting Thursday, March 20, the inside lanes of both eastbound and westbound SR 930/Coliseum Boulevard will be restricted between Crescent and Parnell avenues as crews work in the median. The crews will be constructing a temporary bridge from the inside lane on the existing bridge.

The inside turn lane for westbound traffic to Anthony Boulevard will also be closed on Thursday as a barrier wall is set from the west side of the intersection for approximately 900 feet.

Eastbound lane closures will continue until the temporary bridge is completed in the median. Also, crews may temporarily restrict additional lanes as the work requires.

All restrictions will be during the hours of 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. as crews work.

Motorists should be aware of traffic controls in this work zone, including signage and barrels, while the work is in progress. The daytime closures are scheduled to be completed by late March, weather permitting.

The work is part of the SR 930 bridge deck improvement and added travel lanes project.
