6th Annual March for Life

The March for Life is to walk and stand up for those children who are within the womb of their mothers who cannot say how beautiful their lives are. The march will start at the same time as the March for Life in Washington D.C. to unite in prayer and walking for the voices of the unborn who cannot speak up for themselves. There will be a police escort to lead the march from the courthouse to The Monument of the Unborn on Jackson Avenue.

Host:

Rick Small from Clear Channel Communications will host the march and lead a prayer for life at the monument of the unborn on Jackson street.

Speakers:

The march will start with Father Dave Cirata, pastor of St Mary’s Catholic Church, Edgerton who will lead a prayer then speak of how life is God’s first and most important Gift. Jesus repeatedly associates His mission of salvation with the gift of Life.

Jeremy Ayers, who is a classroom presenter in area schools for abstinence based programs. He will be

speaking about healthy relationships in choosing friends setting goals that will promote abstinence.

Lora Purpura with her husband Frank,from Bryan will share her witness of emotional stress and pain of an abortion turning into a recovering healing of forgiveness from God.

“Gods Girls” who are home school girls from the area will tell why they are pro life and sing a song in American sign language giving glory to God.

Andrew Reinhart, who is a Pastoral Associate of Administration +Formation at Holy Rosary Cathedral, Toledo will speak how with every right comes responsibilities. We need to do more than proclaim life with our words but proclaim life with our bodies also.

Mary Juarez, from Edgerton, who is with Never Let Go Ministries, is a Mother on a Mission who will talk about

the unborn child who had a right to be born where they could have the answer to the end of addiction.

The march will end at the church basement of St John’s Catholic Church with Jim Zipfel and Olivia Paholak sharing pro life music.

Reverend David Crobston, St Paul Lutheran Church, Defiance will then speak about God created life in the very beginning where life is good then end with a prayer.

All are welcome to join in giving witness of how life is so beautiful. All are invited for hot chocolate in the church basement.

There will be Mass for life celebrated by Father Randy Giesge at Holy Cross Catholic School Chapel at 9:30am then Exposition of the Most Blessed Sacrament at St John’s Catholic Church throughout the day for those who want to spend time in prayer for life with Benediction at 5pm with Deacon Mark Homier officiating.
